Format Charts: Complete Options Guide
Control titles, legends, tooltips, axes, data labels, and backgrounds in the Edilitics chart builder. Covers 9 global options and 4 axis controls.
The Format tab in the left panel of the chart builder controls how a chart looks. It becomes available once at least one field is assigned to Columns or Rows. Formatting changes are cosmetic and have no effect on the underlying query or data.
Options are split into two categories: Global options appear on every chart type. Axes options appear only on cartesian charts. Chart-specific controls such as pie radius, KPI sparkline, and map region are documented on each chart's own page in Charts.
