Sharing & Access Control
How to share an integration with workspace members and what happens when you revoke access from a user who has built work on top of it.
An integration you create is private by default. Only you can see and use it. Sharing gives other workspace members access to use it in their own Transform flows, Visualizations, and AskEdi chats without exposing the underlying connection credentials.
Who Can Share
Only the integration owner and workspace admins can share or revoke access. Shared users cannot share the integration further. The Share action does not appear in the hover menu for shared users.
Sharing is available for workspace accounts only. Accounts on personal or generic email domains cannot share integrations.
How to Share
The Share modal opens with two panels: workspace members available to share with on the left, and members already shared with on the right. Search by name, email, or designation to filter either list.
Select one or more members from the left panel. Use Select All to add everyone at once.
Click Share to confirm. The selected users gain access immediately.
If there are no workspace members available to share with, a message appears and the modal closes automatically.

Workspace admins have full access to every integration in the workspace regardless of who created it. They do not need to be explicitly shared on an integration.
Revoking Access
Open the Share modal and click the revoke icon next to a user's name in the Shared With panel.
Simple revoke
If the user has not used the integration to build anything, access is removed immediately. They are moved back to the available list and can be re-shared at any time.
Force revoke
If the user has built work that depends on the integration, a simple revoke fails and a warning appears instead. The warning lists exactly what would be affected:
- Number of Transform flows
- Number of Visualizations
- Number of AskEdi chats
To proceed, type REVOKE & DELETE exactly as shown and click Delete. This permanently removes the user's access and deletes all of their downstream assets that depended on this integration.
Force revoke is permanent. The user's Transform flows, Visualizations, and AskEdi chats that were built on this integration are deleted and cannot be recovered. Review the dependency list before confirming.
Notifications
Edilitics notifies relevant users by in-app notification and Slack when access changes on an integration.
| Event | Who receives it |
|---|---|
| Integration shared | The newly added user receives a notification confirming they now have access. |
| Integration shared (admin action) | If a workspace admin shares on behalf of the owner, the owner also receives a notification listing how many users were added and by whom. |
| Access revoked | The revoked user receives a notification confirming their access has been removed and how many dependent assets were deleted. |
| Access revoked (admin action) | If a workspace admin performs the revoke, the owner also receives a notification identifying the revoked user and the asset count deleted. |
